I’m Charles “Chuck” Stevens, the author of a series of erotic novels to be published by Whiskey Creek Press. I’m a compulsive writer and I’ve already written nine full-length mainstream novels under a pseudonym.
Whiskey Creek Press is a new outlet for me and writing erotic fiction is a new venture. Researching the stories has given me a deeper insight into the way people behave, not that I’m any stranger to what goes on behind the bedroom door. Hell, I have three kids of my own and they didn’t come into this world by magic!
I started writing novels while recovering from an illness. I bring my stories to life with vivid descriptions of the settings, since I’ve been luckier than most in having the chance to travel the world. I figured I could use my stories to give people a deeper insight into what life is like out there. I’ve been to all the locations I’ve used in my manuscripts.
I was in Belfast when Northern Ireland was on its knees at the height of the “troubles”. A few years after that, I had the experience of cruising along the gentle waterways of France, travelling south from the port of St. Malo. Those experiences gave me the locations for the first two thrillers. They are real places and I describe them just as I saw them.
In my time I’ve also travelled in England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, The Cook Islands, Canada, the Caribbean, Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China. In time, I’ll hit on a reason for Mike to go to some of these other places.
