Whenever she’s not researching or writing, Anastasia is traveling. And she loves to explore—Caribbean beaches, Mayan ruins and century-old Spanish cities.
At one time, she considered a career as an artist. Her art has been in exhibits and she has sold both drawings and paintings. In contrast to her quiet side, Anastasia is also an advanced belt in karate and weaponry. She also enjoys Latin dancing and scuba diving.
Fluent in German and English, she knows a smattering of French and is presently learning Spanish.
As well as being a teacher for many years, Anastasia had careers in the hotel and travel industries. Indulging her creative passion at every opportunity, she writes mystery and romance novels.
